Getting to Lac-Saint-Jean
By car
Take a scenic drive to explore the Lac-Saint-Jean region and enjoy its diverse seasonal attractions: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
Take Route 175 North (a four-lane divided highway) through the Laurentides Park. At the intersection in the Étape area, follow Route 169 North toward Hébertville to reach the Lac-Saint-Jean region directly.
About 2h30 from Quebec City.
Take Highway 40, then Route 155 North from Trois-Rivières, passing through La Tuque. Continue on Route 155 to Chambord, where you’ll reach the south shore of Lac-Saint-Jean.
About 3h from Mauricie.
Take Route 138 East to Saint-Siméon, then turn onto Route 170 toward Saguenay. Drive through the Chicoutimi borough (Saguenay) and follow Route 170 West to the junction with Route 169.
About 4h from Charlevoix.
Take Route 138 West from Sept-Îles to Saint-Siméon, then turn onto Route 170 West toward Saguenay. Drive through the Chicoutimi borough and continue on Route 170 West to the junction with Route 169, which you will follow to Saint-Bruno.
